Author Instructions for Preparing Camera-Ready Version

·        Step 1: Paper revision

Revise the content/structure of your paper according to the reviewers’ suggestions.

·        Step 2: Paper formatting

Maximum pages:
§         Long paper: 12 pages (up to two extra pages may be included for long papers at a cost of $100 per extra page)
§         Short paper: 5 pages

  • Apply ACM Computing Classification categories and terms. The templates provide space for this indexing. The Computing Classification Scheme at:
    http://www.acm.org/class/1998/

You may use most heavily the parts of the Taxonomy under the node H.5 found here: 
http://www.acm.org/class/1998/J.1.html

  • Add the ACM Standard Copyright Statement, together with a bibliographic strip containing the ISBN assigned by ACM at the bottom of first page of your paper:

"Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.

Copyright 2006 ACM 1-59593-392-1.”

This is a sample paper that shows where to add the copyright statement in the first paper of your paper.

§         Make the camera-ready version of your paper as a PDF file.

·        Step 3: Final paper submission

The submission process is same as the process when you submitted your original paper. The submission deadline is by May 31, 2006.

·        Step 4: Sign and submit the ACM Copyright Form

  • Fill and sign the copyright form to transfer the copyright of your paper to ACM. You will retain many rights even after such a transfer. The complete ACM Copyright Policy can be viewed at:        http://www.acm.org/pubs/copyright_policy/

  • Fax your signed copyright form to the following fax number with attention to “Scott Buffett, ICEC’06 Copyright”.
    FAX: +1 506 444 6114

As an alterative, you may scan the signed copyright form to an image file and send the image file to programchairs@icec06.net by e-mail.

·        Step 5: Conference registration

For your paper to be officially published in the ICEC’06 Conference Proceedings and ACM Digital Library, one or more authors of your paper must register to the conference before the early registration deadline by June 1, 2006.
